How do I save my data out of PlaceWhisper?
Although using the PlaceWhisper app is the best way to share your data, you might want to export your data out for use elsewhere. PlaceWhisper makes it really easy for you to export the data you create using the PlaceWhisper website using the following steps:
- Navigate to http://placewhisper.com/ and log in using your username and password.
- Click on the "My Account" tab.
- Click on the "Export Whispers" button.
This will download a file called "placewhisper.kmz", which will contain the text, audio, and images for all your Whispers and Trails in one file.
The KMZ file can easily be loaded into tools such as Google Earth and documentation on the format can be found here for those who wish to know more about it.
